Guayaquil Ecuador homes for sale and custom builds
The largest city in Ecuador, warm all year, with an international airport and the beaches of Santa Elena two hours away.
Why Guayaquil
Guayaquil is the largest city in Ecuador and its main port, on the Guayas river near sea level. It has the country's second international airport, private hospitals and a large commercial offer.
The climate is tropical: an annual average near 26 °C (80 °F), a warm rainy season from January to April and a drier, slightly cooler season the rest of the year.
The beaches of Salinas and the Ruta del Spondylus are about two hours by road, which makes Guayaquil a base for people who want city services and the coast on weekends.
Figures are approximate and come from public sources; see our brief for each reference.
