Salinas Ecuador real estate: beach homes and lots
The westernmost city of mainland Ecuador, a dry and sunny beach resort with a yacht club and a mid-rise waterfront.
Why Salinas
Salinas sits on the tip of the Santa Elena peninsula, the westernmost city of mainland Ecuador. It is a long-established beach resort with a yacht club, a boardwalk and a mid-rise waterfront.
Thanks to the Humboldt current the climate is warm and dry rather than humid: an annual average near 25 °C (77 °F), warmer from January to March and cooler from July to August, with very little rain.
Guayaquil and its international airport are about two hours by road, so flights home and major hospitals stay within reach.
Figures are approximate and come from public sources; see our brief for each reference.
